“Worth You”

Worth You is about looking back at the difficult roads in life and realizing that changing the past might also change where those roads eventually led.

The song was inspired by a personal story of a painful marriage, separation, financial struggles and the difficult process of rebuilding a life. Shortly after the separation, someone special came into that life — not after everything had been resolved, but while much of the mess was still unfolding. She stayed and stood beside him through it.

Years later, the past looks different.

Not because the pain was necessary or somehow good, but because changing even one part of that journey might have meant taking a different road and never meeting her.

It comes from something he has told her many times: knowing she was there at the end, he would do it all over again. Every difficult year, every mistake, every hurt — even the painful marriage that came before her.

That is the meaning of Worth You.

The road wasn't worth it because of what happened along the way.

It was worth it because of who it led to.
